At age 14 she began teaching dance for Dance Dynamics. She started choreographing, and teaching classes in tap, jazz, ballet in the Cecchetti method, lyrical and tumbling/acro. She attended many different clinics and camps in Idaho, Utah and California. She also choreographed many dance routines for her high school cheerleaders, theater productions and pep assemblies. Janielle also choreographed the Adagio routine for her Senior prom which she also performed with two other couples.
After graduation from high school, she moved to Provo, where she trained with Center Stage in Orem under the direction of Darryl Yeager. Janielle then attended Snow College where she danced with the Snow College Badgerettes. During this time Janielle choreographed and taught solos, duets, and team routines for the studio Center Stage in Ephraim. Janielle is a two-year graduate of the Dance Educators of America program where she increased her ability in teaching and choreography with the top educators in ballet, lyrical, hip hop, tap and acro including Charles Kelley for tap and acro, Dolly Kelepecz ballet/point, Steve Sirico jazz/adagio, Angela D’Valda Sirico ballet/adagio and many others.
Janielle full-filled her dream of becoming a dance teacher and studio owner for almost 10 years. She began her studio called Dynamic Dance Company and Xtreme Tumblers in January of 2004 instructing and choreographing in Competitive dance teams, jazz/tap/ballet/contemporary, tumbling/acro, and cheerleading. Janielle and her children then moved and she was so fortunate for teach and choreograph ballet, tumbling/acro, competitive jazz and lyrical routines for Steps Dance in Spanish Fork, Utah, and later in St. George, Utah with Desert Edge Dance Company.
Janielle loves to dance and soak up all life has to offer. She is always striving to be a better teacher, friend and overall person. It is her hope that her students will find their own passion for life and dancing, she is truly blessed to join Studio One in Henderson and excited for the new season.
